Party Mode

Type your players in once. TossUp handles the rest — fair turns, a spin to pick what happens, and a fresh prompt every round. Nobody plays referee.

Who's playing?

Add at least 2 players. Turn order is shuffled fairly — nobody goes twice before everyone's gone once.

What's on the wheel?

Tap to include or remove a category. All prompts are mixed-company friendly.

The party that runs itself

Every group game has the same hidden job nobody wants: the referee. Someone has to remember whose turn it is, think up the next question, and nudge the game along when it stalls. Party Mode does that job. You enter the players once, choose what kinds of prompts you want on the wheel, and from then on the site keeps the night moving — it announces who's up, the wheel decides what they do, and a prompt appears instantly. When the round ends, the next name is already on screen.

Fair turns, guaranteed

Turn order is shuffled at the start and nobody is picked twice until everyone has gone once — the strip at the bottom shows who's played this round. That one rule fixes the classic party failure where two loud players trade turns while everyone else spectates. When a full round completes, the order reshuffles and the next round begins automatically.

Mix the wheel to match your group

Four categories can go on the wheel: Truths (honest questions), Dares (quick, doable challenges), Icebreakers (opinions and would-you-rathers for groups still warming up), and Challenges (thirty-second performances and mini-feats). New friends? Run Icebreakers and Truths. Close friends at midnight? All four. Office party? Icebreakers and Challenges keep it professional. Every prompt is written to be safe for mixed company, so you can hand the phone to anyone.

Frequently asked questions

How many people can play?

From 2 to as many as you can fit in a room — the turn queue handles any size. Big groups just mean more suspense between your turns.

Can we skip a prompt?

Yes — "New prompt" deals a different one from the same category. House rule suggestion: one swap per turn keeps the game honest.

Do prompts repeat?

Not until a category's whole deck has been used. Each category shuffles its prompts and deals them out one by one, like a deck of cards.
